I produced this documentary which was directed by an incredible man, Dan Asma.

 

The story centers on the friendship between Don Morgan, Owen Roizman and all the sober men in recovery Don Morgan has sponsored through the years. 

 

With that in mind, no female cinematographers were interviewed for this film. 

​

That said, CINEMATOGRAPHER was mainly shot by Jeanne Tyson.

 

Jeanne was hired because she is a badass Director of Photography. Not because of her gender.

 

Yet representation does matter. Therefore it is important to acknowledge her contribution to this film. 

​

And like most DP's, Jeanne would rather be behind the camera working, then in front of it being interviewed.
